Benja was the 2019 World AeroPress Championship runner up. This is not the recipe he used in the competition, but it is what he uses when at home.

It's a quick and simple AeroPress recipe, and don't worry - you can still get your elbow into it just like Benja's competition recipe (which you can view here).

Water:

85-94°C / NaN°F
230mL

Equipment:

AeroPress® AeroPress®
  1. Rinse paper filter with hot water.
  2. Pour 150g water into the AeroPress.
  3. At 0:30 stir for 15 sec.
  4. At 1:00 press for 30 sec (using your elbow).
  5. Pour 80g of water for bypass.
  6. Stir and enjoy.
