A Better Iced Coffee

This is a cold recipe

I found a video on Youtube from Black Tie Kitchen for brewing a V60 Japanese iced coffee. I tried it on the AeroPress and got a wonderful cup!

You need ice cubes!

Recipe details:

Standard
3:15
Paper Filter

Coffee:

15g
Medium-fine
Fruity or citrusy

Water:

93-95°C / NaN°F
140mL

Equipment:

  1. Put 125g of ice in the glass.
  2. Rinse the filter and set your AeroPress in the standard position on top of the glass.
  3. Add 15g of coffee.
  4. Add 30g of water (2x the coffee weight).
  5. Bloom for 45sec (stir if needed).
  6. At 45sec, add 30g water (60g total).
  7. At 1min15, add another 30g (90g total).
  8. At 1min45, 30g again (120g total).
  9. At 2min15 reach for 140g total water (stir if needed).
  10. Once around 2min45, press.
