I am returning to coffee after a long hiatus. I work in technology and value efficiency and repeatability. I have had an aeropress for at least a decade, but never really got along with it. I recently dug it out of the cabinet to try it again. I discovered that there are far superior metal filters as well as flow control valves. These two things are game changers. The aeropress also dragged me back to espresso. This time I went with a fully manual machine. My coffee quality has skyrocketed.
