Jakub Hůda

My name is Jakub Hůda, I come from a small town in the South Bohemian region within the heart of Europe, Czech Republic. However, I now live in the capital, Prague. I have been a coffee enthusiast since I was 16, but I've only discovered specialty coffee when I was 22. Now I can call myself a specialty coffee "freak" since I own almost every piece of coffee related gadgets you can imagine. My true love lies within pour-over coffee, especially a V60 method. However, I also love drinking my double espresso in a random local coffee shop. But my true love for coffee doesn't end with home preparation, I am currently working as a showroom assistant at Kofio, a company that sells speciality coffee packages and coffee accessories to the general public, where my main task is to spread the word about speciality coffee among my fellow citizens who are not fully initiated into this world. All in all, over the past 2 years I've discovered that speciality coffee is not only my passion, but my whole life.
