A recipe from the 2019 Brazilian AeroPress Championship 2nd Place - Abgail.
This recipe uses dual-temp for brewing and bypassing, medium roast beans - washed process, fruity (yellow) and chocolate notes, dense body, and medium acidity.
Recipe Notes:
- Rinse the paper filter
- 52 on Breville electric grinder
- 120mL water for brewing at 80°C (mineral, TDS±120ppm)
- 80mL bypass at 93°C

80°C / 176°F
200mL
- Rinse paper filter.
- Add 30g of coffee.
- Add 120g of water heated to 80°C.
- Stir 8 times (straight movements).
- At 0:55 attach the filter cap, close and put the cup/pitcher on.
- Flip the brewer, and press right away until 1:20.
- Adjust the water temperature to 93°C.
- Add 80ml of water in the coffee brewed.
- Swirl to cool down until 60°C.
