Aeropresso Light

If you like a lighter espresso base drink, give this one a try. You can make it black or add 70g of milk to it.

I use a metal filter but a paper filter works fine too.

Metal Filter

A darker roast

100°C / 212°F

  1. Place your inverted Aeropress on your scales and weigh out 11g of your chosen coffee.
  2. Boil your water and pour 110g water in a circular motion onto the bed of coffee.
  3. Leave for two minutes, then place your metal filter (also works with paper filters!) on top of the AeroPress as well as the filter cap.
  4. Place your chosen mug on top and flip the AeroPress so it rests on top of the mug.
  5. Leave for a further thirty seconds then slowly press for a further thirty seconds.
  6. Discard the coffee puck, add milk (around 70g if using) and enjoy!
