Black & Tan

This AeroPress recipe gives you the best of both worlds. The light roast can have fruit tanginess and floral aroma while the dark roast provides bold, rich, and sometimes chocolaty flavour.

Mix 1 bag of Dark Roast and 1 Bag of Light roast beans from a local roaster. Look at the roast date and get the latest they have to offer.

Notice the 2-step water process @ 2 temps in the recipe.

You'll fill the inverted AeroPress with coffee and 130g of water at 170°F (77°C). While that is brewing, raise the water temp to 212°F (100°C). Stir the brewing coffee for 10 sec to get the coffee fully saturated. After 1:30 top up 130g of water at 212°F (100°C) water, stir for 10 seconds, press through and enjoy.
