Bold, Bright & Balanced
Designed to be consistently repeatable and to hopefully let you taste the full range of the coffee's tasting notes. I find it works with any type of coffee.
- The gentle agitation and ratio help to bring out the acidity of the coffee
- The longer total brew time brings a balanced sweetness
- The ratio results in a full body with a long finish
- The gentle/slow press helps to avoid any bitterness or astringency

Coffee:
18g
Any
Grind Settings:
Medium (2.0 on Knock Aergrind)
Water:
100°C / 212°F
200mL
Equipment:
- Place one paper filter on top of the Fellow Prismo's metal filter and screw onto AeroPress.
- Add 100g of 100°C water to AeroPress. Start timer and add 18g of coffee. Shake gently to level.
- Slowly pour remaining 100g of water. No need to re-boil the kettle.
- Put AeroPress paddle (or spoon) in centre and to the bottom. Stir very gently from front to back 8 times, going up from the bottom to the top.
- (One stir = going from front of AeroPress to the back. Avoid any circular stirs/motions: you want to end up with a flat bed of coffee.)
- Place plunger into top of AeroPress. Wait until 2 minutes.
- Press very gently for a further 2 minutes, for a total brew time of 4 minutes. Stop pressing as soon as you hear a hiss.
- Enjoy!
