Coffee Chronicler Funky AeroPress Recipe
Delivers great flavor separation and sweetness, let you micro-adjust your coffee at the end of the brew.
Tips:
- Use a double paper filter
- 7.0 with 1zpresso ZP6
- This recipe involves 2 separate presses
- Take your time wiggling the plunger out of the chamber after the first press (if done too fast could displace the filters, make a mess and ruin the brew - don't ask how I found out); you could reinsert the plunger and press a second time just to make sure to get every drop from the first press
- Try to use spouted cups or glasses, make the pouring and mixing less messy and more precise
- Usually mixing 20-25 grams from the first press gets you where you want to be with flavor, but it's super variable and subjective

Equipment:
- Press 1: Pour 50g of water, shake the Aeropress, insert the plunger and press until the you hear the hiss
- Remove the plunger at an angle, pour the extracted coffee into a 2nd glass (should yield around 35g of liquid)
- Press 2: Tare the scale, pour the remaining 150g of water
- Insert the plunger, press gently at 2:00
- Start mixing 20g from of the liquid from the first press into the the cup, add more to taste
