Fruity Press

If you like sweet, fruity notes, look no further.

For some time now, I have been experimenting with the natural process and honey process beans, and this recipe has made marvels for me. Regarding honey process beans, I prefer black and red honey, because they offer a bolder cup.

If you get a light roast, you might want to grind finer or use hotter water. Enjoy!

P.S: I drew inspiration from James Hoffmann's Ultimate Aeropress Recipe to develop this one.

Recipe details:

Standard
1:30
Paper Filter

Coffee:

10g
Medium-fine
Natural or Honey (Medium Roast)

Water:

90°C / 194°F
120mL
  1. Set your AeroPress in the standard position, add your coffee grounds
  2. Pour water at 90°C, slowly (I recommend spending 10 seconds doing this)
  3. Swirl gently and let it rest for 20 seconds
  4. Swirl again, and let it rest for 20 seconds
  5. Insert the plunger and press slowly for 30 seconds. Don't push too hard
  6. Once you finish, pull slightly to avoid any drops
  7. To appreciate the aroma and sweetness, let it rest for 20 seconds at room temperature
  8. Serve and enjoy!
