2017 Indonesian AeroPress Championship - 3rd Place
I used this recipe in the 2017 IAC and at that time I won third place.
The recipe is quite consistent and can be used in all types of coffee beans provided.
This recipe includes a bypass, and although the latest WAC regulations do not allow a bypass / dilution, to get a delicious and easy cup of coffee this recipe is worth a try.
Recipe Notes:
- Use 2 pcs paper filter, rinsed
- Use coarse grind (34 on Hario V60 grinder)
- Preheat the AeroPress

- Pour 150 grams of water into the chamber for 15 seconds.
- Next, stir for 20 seconds evenly.
- Wait until 1:00, then put the filter cap on and flip the AeroPress onto a cup.
- Press for 30 seconds.
- Dilute/bypass with 110-120 grams of water at 84°C, adjust to your taste.
- Voila! Serve and enjoy.
