Kaldi's Recipe

This AeroPress recipe by Andrew McCaslin from Kaldi's Coffee should produce a clean and juicy cup with a wonderful clarity to its flavor even given the tighter brew ratio.

For increased clarity and a cleaner cup, it's recommended to use 2 paper filters with this AeroPress recipe.

Equipment:

  1. Prepare 2 well rinsed paper filters.
  2. First bloom coffee for 45 sec with 40g of water.
  3. Fill to 281 grams after bloom.
  4. Gently stir slurry and press at 2 min 45 sec.
  5. Press gently for 1 min.
