Lance Hedrick - Samo Bloom
The 'Samo Bloom' is a coffee brewing technique popularised by Lance Hedrick, utilizing a low-temperature (50-60c) bloom to retain volatile aromatic compounds for a more fragrant, vibrant cup.
Based on research by Dr. Samo Smrke, this method, used with a 1:3 coffee-to-water ratio, improves clarity and reduces bitterness in pour-overs.
