One Brew for Two

Coffee is enjoyable, especially when you share it with your friend.

This "One Brew for Two" recipe uses 30 grams of medium-grind coffee and 450 grams of hot water to make around 400 grams of brewed coffee in about 4 minutes.

Thus, you and your friend can swiftly have a decent amount of brewed coffee.

  1. Prep - Set the AeroPress chamber in the standard position on top of a sturdy coffee server with a minimum capacity of 450 mL, then place the whole setup on top of a coffee scale.
  2. Prep - Add 30 grams of medium-grind coffee to the chamber and level the coffee bed by gently shaking the chamber.
  3. Start the timer, pour 150 grams of hot water into the chamber, and stir it 10 times.
  4. At 1:30, pour 150 grams of hot water into the chamber and stir it 10 times, then immediately put the AeroPress plunger in, but do not press yet and put the whole setup away from the scale.
  5. At 3:00, press the plunger until the hiss and put the chamber aside,
  6. Then put the server back on top of the scale to pour 150 grams of hot water into the server and stir it 10 times.
