Only have an oven timer

This has become my go-to when I can't process all the steps in a more complicated brew. Simple and easy.

I made this recipe because I didn't have my phone and the oven timer can only do whole minutes... it was pretty good.

📝 Recipe Notes:

  • Grind size: I go 9 clicks on a Timemore C2 for a fine roast.

  1. Prep: Set up the press in the inverted position
  2. Add 80g of water and add coffee - stir - start timer
  3. At 1 minute, add 120g of water and give it a good stir
  4. Rinse the filter so it sticks to the cap - put it on and press the air out
  5. At 2 min - flip the press over and press slowly (I aim for 20-30 seconds but I don't time it)
  6. Wait until drinkable
  7. Enjoy!!!
