Raphael's 'Personal Recipe (A)'

Raphael Barbedouce is the head barista at Maxi Coffee Shop in La Teste-de-Buch, France.

This is Raphael's personal AeroPress recipe for most mornings' coffee routine.

FYI, Raphael uses a double filter for this recipe.

  1. Rinse the double filter.
  2. Put the coffee in the AeroPress and tare the scale.
  3. Start the timer and add 50g of water.
  4. Gently mix until you reach :20.
  5. Wait until :50.
  6. Add 200g of water.
  7. Gently mix until 1:20.
  8. Flip and press until 2:00.
