This AeroPress recipe takes approximately 6 minutes to brew. It requires minimal agitation, apart from a quick swirl to break the crust half-way through.

Although it requires some patience and attention, the result is worth the effort.

Medium-coarse (21 clicks on Timemore C2)

Water:

96°C / 204°F

  1. Bloom the coffee with 60g water for about 45 seconds.
  2. Pour the rest of 190g water and let it brew for 3:40 min (around 4:25 since start of timer).
  3. Swirl the AeroPress 3 times and remove the crust.
  4. Let it rest for about 1:30 min (around 6:00 on the timer).
  5. Invert the aeropress and very slowly press it. Might take about 1 minute.
  6. Enjoy your brew.
