The Stubby

This AeroPress recipe was created by Brian Beyke from Abandon Coffee and the I Brew My Own Coffee podcast (which is absolutely worth a listen).

It's an interesting AeroPress recipe, producing great clarity and flavour with most beans.

Worth noting:

- This recipe adds 100ml (or whatever suits your taste) after the plunge is completed.

- It also uses an interesting technique with the plunger, where you push all the air out before you plunge

  1. Invert your AeroPress and set the plunger to just below level 3 marker.
  2. Add your 25g of ground coffee and tap to level.

  5. Fill to 150g.
  6. Put your AeroPress cap on and push down until you see it start to bubble at the filter.
  7. When your timer reaches 1:00 flip your AeroPress and start pressing.
  8. It should finish at about 1:30.
  9. Top up (bypass) with 100g of water, total water should now be 250g.
  10. Enjoy!
