The Double Bloom
This is a simple V60 recipe from the team at Standout Coffee.
It is a single-cup V60 method with one twist: you bloom the coffee twice instead of once.
It runs at 15g coffee to 250g water (1:16.7), with the second bloom driving off more CO₂ before the bed settles, which tends to give you a cleaner cup with a bit more sweetness and clarity. It's a good next step once you're comfortable with a basic pour-over and want your results to be more repeatable.
Consider the grind size a starting point, not a rule - go finer or coarser until your total brew lands between 2:30 and 3:00, and you'll know it's dialed in.
