Worth the wait
This recipe was inspired by James Hoffmann's Ultimate French Press Technique and his "How To Cup Coffee At Home" videos.
The steps are basically the same but use the AeroPress instead of the French Press.

Water:
100°C / 212°F
200mL
Equipment:
- Grind your coffee medium to medium fine. 12g seems to be a good start but you can do 14g for more strength.
- Pour your ground coffee into your inverted AeroPress. Tap the sides a little just to level the coffee bed.
- Pour 200mL of water that's just off the boil, ensuring that all coffee grounds are saturated.
- Set your timer to 4 minutes. You can use this time to pre-wet the paper filter on the lid.
- After 4 minutes, stir the top of the coffee gently just so that the grounds on top would fall to the bottom. Then remove as much foam from the top.
- Place the lid and turn your AeroPress to upright position. Make sure that your drinking vessel is at the bottom to avoid spills. Wait for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, gently press all the way down. No need to press hard.
- That's it. You're done!
