AeroPress Go for 2-3 cups
I often need to brew for 2-3 people and I enjoy the convenience of the small AeroPress Go while travelling so I wanted to develop a recipe that tastes good after dilution and still be somewhat modifiable depending on what you are brewing with. This is a work in progress so I’m very open to critique!
📝 Recipe Notes:
- Water: 200 for brewing, 40-60ml for dilution
- Filter: 2 paper filters
- Tip: Before plunging, lift your brewer about 2cm from your server or cup, and drop it back down. This can help settle the coffee and prevent channelling.

Paper Filter
Coffee:
18g
Medium-fine
Light, washed coffee. I used a Colombian for this
Water:
96-99°C / NaN°F
200mL
Equipment:
- Pre-wet TWO paper filters and place in cap, set aside. Add coffee to main chamber.
- Start timer and add 100ml of water off the boil, stir 3 times vigorously.
- Immediately top up to 200ml of water.
- At 1:00 stir 3 more times. Place filter cap on and press out excess air and then flip on to your server/cup.
- At 1:15, start slowly pressing with the aim to finish brew at 1:45-2 minutes. This should yield about ~170ml of coffee.
- Dilute with 40-60ml of water from the kettle, depending on preference. I’d recommend about 40-50ml with lighter coffees.
- Tip: Before plunging, lift your brewer about 2cm from your server or cup, and drop it back down. This can help settle the coffee and prevent channeling.
