PUCKPUCK is a brilliant attachment that turns any AeroPress into a cold brew drip system.

PUCKPUCK sits neatly on top of your AeroPress, allowing you to create slow dripped coffee with its distinctive sweet and nuanced flavours, for a fraction of the cost of a larger setup.

For this recipe we've said 15°C, but any room temperature water will suffice as it is cooled by 100gm of ice that you will need to add with your water.

You will also need a water bottle (with the base cut off) or PUCKPUCK's additional water vessel

Oh, and don't forget the PUCKPUCK app to get more control out of the brewing process - available on iOS and Android.

  1. Rinse your PUCKPUCK. Unclip and set aside the SPLASH FILTER. Unscrew and rinse the two halves of the PUCKPUCK with hot water. Shake off any excess water, ensuring all 4 vent holes are clear (see below). Re-assemble the PUCKPUCK, screwing clockwise to a closed position.
  2. Assemble your AeroPress. Add a paper filter to the filter cap and screw it onto the Aeropress®. Place the Aeropress® onto a jug.
  3. Place 38g medium ground coffee into the Aeropress® on top of the filter and shake to level. Drop the SPLASH FILTER on top of the coffee grounds inside the Aeropress.
  4. Screw the VESSEL or water bottle (with base cut off) into the PUCKPUCK. Place the combined PUCKPUCK and water vessel on top of the Aeropress®. Add 100g of ice to the vessel, and fill up the remainder with 400ml of water.
  5. Adjust your drip rate. Slowly turn the PUCKPUCK in an anti-clockwise direction until you start to see drips coming out of the valve. Adjust the flow rate to around 50 drops per minute for a 2.5 - 3 hr brew time.
  6. Experiment with drip rates to personalise your brew.
  7. Once your brew is finished (approx. 2.5hrs) you can drink it straight away or store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
